Recreational & Learn-2-Skate Classes
INTRODUCTION TO CLASSES
- The Kiwi Skate Program is a learn to skate program and follows a set guideline with levels of achievement. Each skater is required to purchase a passbook when they start for the first time and this is used to record the skaters skills learnt and follow their achievement levels. Some skaters may take a year or more to complete their passbook while others may only take 2-3 terms if they have already had some skating experience.
- Our Young Recreational class are based on learning new skills, giving time to practice those skills and some game playing and team cooperation, all in a fun and social environment.
- Roller Stars is the next step for recreational skaters after they have completed their Kiwi Skate program or have been through our Young Rec class and are looking for something more development focused. Skaters will begin to learn a routine to music and an introduction to artistic footwork.
